Oregon stonecrop
© Richie Steffen / Great Plant Picks
The diminutive, nubbly succulent leaves of Oregon stonecrop are bright green – sometimes with a cherry red to burgundy blush – with golden yellow flowers on stems 2 to 6 inches tall. The evergreen foliage is only a few inches in height but spreads 18 or more inches. This native makes a great, very low-growing perennial for sites with full sun and needs watering only once a month or so during the dry season.
